WOMEN IN MEDIA REEL/FORWARD 2026

Filmmaker Samantha Shada joined the speed pitching event to fundraise for Come Home With Me at Women In Media’s second annual Reel/Forward conference.

Women In Media promotes gender balance in the film and entertainment industries through networking, professional development, and advocacy for filmmakers who work above and below the line. This year’s speed pitching session was purpose-built to connect those with projects to people looking for properties to invest in or distribute. This session put investors, sales agents, and others looking for projects in the room with producers, directors, and writers with projects to pitch.
